Aromatherapy basics

Pure 100% essential oils are undiluted and do not contain any added fillers or additives. Diluted essential oils, on the other hand, are mixed with a carrier oil, such as almond or coconut oil, to reduce their concentration and prevent skin irritation. Some essential oils are more potent than others and require greater dilution to ensure safe use.
